Working at the intersection of government and stakeholder relations for over twenty years, Michael is a strategic advisor in the global offshoring space. He has advised the inward-investment agencies of Barbados, Colombia, Egypt, Georgia, South Africa and Ukraine on the positioning of their BPO offers with analyst, media and government relations, including content creation, thought leadership and branding. In 2009, while at Hill+Knowlton he oversaw and launched ‘Beyond BRIC’ with ITIDA, which is still recognized as a ground-breaking piece of industry thought leadership. He is known as an influencer in the outsourcing space and is a regular commentator and public speaker at industry events including CX Outsourcers as a partner of Ryan Strategic Advisory.  Michael has a PhD. in History from the University of Leeds and has also completed the Oxford Leading Sustainable Corporations Programme at Said Business School, University of Oxford, UK.
