Salil Mohan is an experienced Foreign Direct Investment Executive with 20 plus years of providing investment strategy, business development and advisory services to mid-market enterprises, service providers and emerging outsourcing regions around the world. Salil began his professional career in the political arena as Legislative Director for Texas State Representative Warren Chisum. During this time, he also worked as a consultant for several political campaigns. Among them were offices for State Representative, Attorney General and the George W. Bush Gubernatorial and Presidential campaigns in 1998 and 2000 respectively. As a Governmental Relations executive in the State of Texas, Salil helped build opportunities and solve problems by implementing effective and creative strategies to achieve success for his clients. His invaluable experience in both the public and private sector led to Senior Business Development positions at consulting firms, working with top clients to increase their customer base, helping to analyze and improve their sales processes while implementing a go-to-market entry strategy.
In his current position, Salil works with International Trade & Investment Promotion agencies (EDOs) in global destinations around the world. Salil helps them gain maximum exposure to the North American market in key industries such as financial services, retail, education, healthcare, manufacturing, agritech, IoT, AI, outsourcing, etc. Another aspect of his job is to facilitate C-level matchmaking services also to host roundtables and in-market seminar events with stakeholders, multipliers and site selectors. Due his vast network and investment attraction experience, he has developed important relationships with high- level governmental officials and executives throughout Latin America, Asia, the Caribbean, the UK and Europe.
